Thameslink 2000 London
The Thameslink 2000 is a government’s funded project that has transformed the rail network through the London Bridge station upgrade, one of the busiest transport hubs in the country. Along with Temple Environmental we have taken part in the noise impact assessments associated with the scheme, in particular with those associated with Blackfriars station announcements and train noise affecting the nearby residential receptors. Software assisted acoustic models were produced using CadnaA® and a significant number of noise and vibration measurements undertaken.
